The missile attack .. Saudi Arabia vows Iran a suitable response

Saudi Arabia has accused Iran of being behind the Al-Houthi ballistic missiles fired at the kingdom that killed one person, threatening to retaliate against Iran "at the right time and place."

"The missiles are Iranian," said a spokesman for the military-led coalition led by Riyadh in Yemen, Turki al-Maliki, adding that the kingdom "reserves the right to respond to Iran at the right time and place."

Since March 26, 2015, Saudi Arabia has been leading a military alliance in Yemen in support of the internationally recognized authority of President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi in the face of the Huthis accused of receiving support from Tehran.

The conflict has killed some 10,000 people and wounded some 53,000 in a humanitarian crisis that the United Nations considers among the worst in the world at present.

The conflict witnessed a new escalation on Sunday, as the coalition announced the intercept of seven ballistic missiles fired by the Houthis towards Saudi territory, but the shrapnel caused the death of an Egyptian national.

Since last November, the Houthis have fired rockets at Saudi Arabia at intervals. At every launch, Riyadh confirms intercepting its air defense of missiles.
