Russian artist Vladimir Machkov was appointed director of the "Tabakirka"
The Russian artist Vladimir Machkov was the artistic director of Moscow's Tabakirka Theater, a theater founded by the late Soviet artist Oleg Tabakov, who was its artistic director for years.
The "Tabakirka" theater was established in Moscow in 1987. Vladimir Machakov acted as a stage actor and director after graduating from the Tekovov Theater, a theater of the Chekhov Theater. He directed his famous plays such as "Poparach", "Hour (o) local time", "Killer decision" and others.
Vladimir Mashkov is also known for directing the films "Kazim Yatim" and "Baba". He has filmed more than 60 feature films, won the Golden Eagle, Tephy and Nika cinemas and television awards.
Oleg Tabakov died on March 12 at the age of 83.
