"Mute" mines .. Assad's latest weapons to kill the Syrians
Assad
forces have used all kinds of weapons over the past years against
civilians in the northern Homs countryside. With recent failed attempts
on the eastern fronts of the Homsi countryside, Assad's forces and
Iranian militias have used new types of "dumb" mines that rely on a high
camouflage mechanism, Pressing them.As
for the mechanism of using these types of mines, Bashar Hamoud, an
engineering specialist and the head of the military factory in
Al-Rastan, told Press Freedom: "These types of mines are dropped by
warplanes. They are placed in private cisterns and when they are opened,
Form umbrellas that are in the safety position, and hit the ground
until it becomes in the status of configuration in the sense of
"explosive explosive versus taste."Al-Hamoud explained that these mines depend on the principle of
pressure, and when a person passes by or on top of it, they are ready to
explode and rely on indiscriminate firing during planting, which aims
to delay the attacking forces and prevent them from advancing.Al-Hamoud pointed out that this type of mines is very dangerous and it
is not advisable for any non-specialists to approach them, stressing
the need to inform the engineering teams concerned with demining until
they are dealt with according to what the competent person sees fit.It
is worth mentioning that this type of mines were used several days ago
on the fronts of the northern Homs and Hama villages in the areas of
Salim and Hamrat villages and the Kurdish dome, in addition to the
village of Majdal and the surrounding areas of Rastan, as well as dozens
of air raids and continuous artillery and rocket fire.
